An ebook reader review could be a big help in deciding which ebook device you want to buy. Ebooks are getting a lot more popular, and it's not really a surprise. After all, they're portable, convenient, and take up a whole lot less space than your average paperback. You can fit hundreds of books in a single reader not much bigger than a trade paperback book. But which reader is going to be the right one for your situation, budget, and needs? An ebook reader review could help you figure it out. One major factor for a lot of people is the file formats their ebook device supports. Let's take a look at some of the possibilities.

There are a few major formats that just about any ebook device is going to support. HTML, txt, jpg and pdf file formats are so common that it'd be silly for any ebook reader not to provide support for them. However, many of the manufacturers use their own proprietary formats when it comes to ebooks they sell. That means you have to own their specific brand of ebook reader.

Review all the different options before you make a choice, and be sure to think hard about where you're mostly going to buy your ebooks. After all, no one wants to be locked out of a big chunk of the books available just because they bought the wrong ebook reader.
